A few years ago around Halloween, I purchased a heavy duty skull pan off of Amazon on a whim and it has turned out to be one of my favorite spooky season purchases to date.
This little pan allows you to make up the coolest and easiest creepy baked goods you’ve ever seen! And it doesn’t just have to be for Halloween either!
I use it to make muffins, cakes, – even molds for jello!
You can get so creative with these pans. I’ve had mine for over 5 years now and they’ve produced countless batches of spooky fun.
A store bought mix can be used to make this to keep is super easy or you can make up a homemade batter of some kind. Here, we’ve used a store bought muffin mix just to show how easy that this can be. My homemade blueberry muffins are another favorite to make in these!
All you is make up whatever batter that you would like to bake inside of it. Make it up just like you would if you were making regular muffins or cupcakes.
Spray the skeleton skull pan with non-stick cooking spray (I like to spray with Baker’s Joy when I’m baking)
P0ur your batter inside of your skull pan.

Bake according the the direction on the box. You may need to add about 5 minutes to the total baking time.
Let them cool inside the baker for a couple of minutes on a wire rack, then carefully flip over the baker to remove the skull muffins or cakes.
You can leave as is or you can decorate them any way you like. You can make frosting eyeballs if you like. I’m keeping it super easy here and using candy eyeballs. You can find the candy eyeballs on Amazon here.
